FCEM affiliates & NAWBO members (all others welcome!)

As Chair of the International Forum for NAWBO, it is my pleasure to start this group. In addition, it is my passion (and my company’s mission) to help women around the globe to develop their communication and leadership skills. I am eager to share.

We can utilize this group to accomplish many things, including:
• Share resources for running our businesses
• Generate trade leads
• Notify each other of events and learning opportunities
• Share expertise
• Connect socially

A couple of resources for you: Great book for women who are starting or growing a business: Birthing the Elepahnt, "The Woman's go-for-it guide to overcoming the big challenges of launching a business by Karin Abarbanel and Bruce Freeman. Ten Speed Press.

Also I do a fifteen minute seminar every Monday, "Monday Morning Marketeer" at 9 AM EDT. You can listen live and chat in or call in questions at 9:15 AM at: http://www.talkshoe.com/talkshoe/web/tscmd/tc/33960. There are over seventy archived shows that may help you jump start your business. The idea is to give small to medium businesses some tips they can use to self market either for free or under $100.00.

For those of you who want to keep up with technology in the 21st Century, every Monday morning at 7 AM, EDT, I interview a new guest about technology, sometimes it's serious, sometimes it's fun but hopefully it will always get you thinking, over 10 shows archived at: http://www.talkshoe.com/talkshoe/web/tscmd/tc/30986

Another Great Book: How to Become a Rainmaker by Jeffrey J. Fox and also How to Become a Marketing Superstar by the same author.

As Chair of NAWBO's International Forum, I just received an email request from a woman business owner in Australia (and a member of Women Chiefs of Enterprises). She is traveling to the US and wants to connect with other women entrepreneurs.

This is a great example of how we can use this Connected-Women group. I sent her this address, so be looking for more info. And, start using this great resource!
