Sam's Club & Chicago Mini Bus Travel Relationship/Partnership I would love to fill everyone in on some exciting news that occurred 2 days ago about my new relationship with Sam's Club and how I am partnering up with them for a relationship that will help both of our businesses to grow and become connected.
In April I met Catherine Corley from Sam's Club, VP of Marketing, who spoke at our WPO National Conf., since then I have been trying to create a nurturing relationship where Sam's Club sees the value of learning from its members what we need to save money on in products and services for our businesses, and how advocating for us to save money will help us a larger scale. There has been a lot of recent chatter at Sam's Club about what I am doing with a Manager here and how I am promoting the relationship that even at this time is attracting new relationships with other businesses and attention. So with that said Catherine last week came out for the NAWBO National Conf. and when she found out that I was looking for her we connected immediately and discussed what has occurred since April.
With lots of discussion and excitement we hit it off on a large scale. Yesterday at 3:30pm I received a call from her in Arkansas that she had just had a meeting with the CEO & COO of Sam's Club about me and they have invited me to come to their Conference on August 12-13 to speak (with the local Manager) about what our new relationship is doing for my business, their goal to connect with their client on a more personal level. The event will be broadcast on Sam's Club global radio station, and in all of their magazines, and news papers. There is going to be a lot of media coverage on the event to promote the importance of a sustainable relationship with your client. I feel honored and excited that out of 22 million members I have been picked to speak about my passion which is customers service. Also after the Latina Style an email was sent to the CEO & COO to visit the store that I spoke at & will be speaking at again, and they have accepted, this will be July 21-23, not sure which date yet.
Also, I met Monica Smiley from Enterprising Women, who discussed the possibility of me joining the Board of Directors, an article about myself and my Company, and they want me to consider writing an article in there magazine on what I am trying to achieve in my business career and Company goals. I want to send out a huge hug out to WPO for supporting me in my business, and nominating as well to Latina Style Magazine. These are the type of relationships that I am seeking and with that I can grow my Company and myself. You are all wonderful, strong people who have taught me so much over the years, also in my new current relationships, and even today it all still soaks in and I still appreciate it.
I was on a panel recently for Latina Style Business Series (national magazine) on June 18th, the comments from the attendees, and the President of the Magazine was that I was the best speaker and I was able to get my message out, which was who supports me, their business name, and how they are helping me grow my business, and also the organizations that I am involved in and how they assist me in my growth. I look forward to our partnership in growing in business and me sharing the many stories of our relationships, which are helping me keep the faith and in moving forward with my vision for a different kind of relationship that grows and sustains over the years in business….
