From Jeddah, Zawya.com  - "The Credit and Savings Bank (CSB) has provided over SR1 billion in free-interest loans to finance educational, medical, and industrial projects to Saudi high school and college female graduates, according to the bank statistics released Tuesday.

Bank funds projects of women entrepreneurs

The financing is part of the bank's Early Learning Program to help fresh graduates to open their own businesses.  The loan amount ranged between SR100,000-R1,500,000 with a priority for female graduates with business experience.

The bank has also injected SR300 million in free-interest loans to finance small medical businesses proposed by young women entrepreneurs. More loans to open small restaurants, factories, gas stations, and other services will be provided to Saudi women. The bank, however, requires a well-done feasibility study of the project.

The bank has extended its lending tree to develop leadership skills of women with a better opportunity of empowering themselves as entrepreneurs than they do in regular employment."

Interesting project for Saudi women entrepreneurs, we at Connected-Women.com are looking out for news worldwide for women entrepreneurs and fundings.  If you have a story to share with us, please feel free to send us information, through our Contact Us Form.
