According to English writer, painter, and all-around creative genius William Blake, "The essentials to happiness are something to love, something to do, and something to hope for. "
American playwright and novelist Thornton Wilder has a few words of wisdom for those who've actually found the ever-elusive thing called happiness: "My advice to you is not to inquire why or whither, but just enjoy your ice cream while it's on your plate. "
And our all-time favourite quote, from beloved Peanuts scribe Charles Schulz: "Happiness is a warm puppy. "
