For about 20 minutes today, the 18Th of September, we had to shut down the sign in part of Connected-Women.com because of some maintenance and security issues.  Now we are back online with some new functions, and I would like to get you involved in these new functions right now!

1. You don't have to sign-in each time you visit!

Yes, that is correct.  If you visit Connected-Women.com on the same computer every time it can be quite frustrating to sign-in each and every time you want to post a thread on the forum, give a recommendation or look around the website with out any trouble.  So we put our heads together and came up with a solution.  Now, if you sign-in once, the computer you are on remembers your username and password (encrypted so no one else can find out what your username or password are) and your computer will sign it self in as soon as you open Connected-Women.com.  If you are using a computer a lot of other people also use, you can simply click on "Sign out" when you are finished working on Connected-Women.com and your computer will not sign in the next time you open our website.  How nice is that? :)

2. You will be notified when someone gives you a recommendation!

When someone recommends you, you will receive an e-mail that tells you so.  This is a great way to keep our users up to date on how their profile is looking and working.  This will also increase the recommendations flow of the website, which is great!

3. Feel more secure

All the information that is posted on Connected-Women.com is encrypted on our database, so if anyone gets over the information we have they can't use it because it's encrypted.  So now you can feel more secure with your username, password and other information you give us when you register.
