Hi Donna - Thank you for a great question, I've wondered about this same thing my self. Would be interesting to hear experiences from women globally on this subject.

Thank you also, for sharing your new video with us. I checked it out and found it most interesting. If I may come up with one suggestion, that would be to try to have less text - more pictures of the bags you are promoting for children, which by the way sound very interesting!

I am really pleased my question was no too amateurish to warrant a sensible response! My clip is only short as we have just finalised our logo and our bags are not yet printed with our branding on, we are still working on the website also. Further clips will follow when developments are made, I initially had the idea to just get the branding out there to get feedback on the business (utilising all free advertising avenues!)

I also agree that it would be great to hear experiences from women globally on this subject, let’s hope more women reply to this thread.

My assistant set up an account for me in June on YouTube because I have taken great videos of women from around the world. But I haven't posted them yet! Yikes! I do think it would add to my branding so this is the trigger for me to put it on my To Do list for this week!

Your videos sound very interesting; do please post your links when you have uploaded them! I am very pleased my thread has sparked enthusiasm for business women to utilise advertising avenues such as Youtube for branding awareness. I am still a novice and still learning the full potential of Youtube and I am equally pleased to be in contacted with many likeminded women!

You ask your question 3 months ago, so you may have find an answer !
I often realize business videos, specially for web sites.
Each time you add a video on your web site, the number of visits increase of at least 20% during 3 or 4 weeks. But it also depends of how you communicate, quality and originality of your video.

Hi ladies

YouTube is a great tool for allowing your true authentic self to shine through. It also can add another form of new media to your blog or website and it is the second best way to improve your SEO rankings so it makes sense to start making more videos.

I'm definitely planning on adding more to my blog so I can get my message across in a more personal way and allow for more engagement.

Get creative and enjoy! A few super useful tools to create videos are Camtasia and Jing if you're interested in doing a little more creative editing.
