A few years ago, I created a strategic consulting firm focusing on the acceleration of women leaders, innovation and learning. Thehorangroup (www.thehorangroup.com) provides workshops and executive coaching on becoming a "Politically Aware" leader - we primarily focus on women in business or NGO's.
Previously, I worked for The Walt Disney Company and Kraft Foods as the head of Organizational Development for the Asia Pacific Region and was responsible for leading the formulation and implementation employee development and talent management and innovation practices. While at Disney, I co-designed with McKinsey and Company business driven action learning programs driving innovation and entrepreneurship across multiple business segments.
I'm always looking to learn and find answers to troubling question - particularly, "If women are transformational leaders, why don't we see more women at the top of organziations?" Along with my consulting practice, I'm also pursuing a PhD with Bristol University focusing on Transformational Asian Women Leaders.

Building on my research interests and writing about what I learned in organizations, I've recently published articles on "Women-omics" (www.20-first.com) on "Barriers to the Top" and "Is it the Vision Thing or Self Promotion?" I continue to write on this topic with the intention to create a gender balance work environment. My consulting practice provides workshops and coaching to executive women on understanding the unwritten rules of organizations, ethical lobbying, and high integrity tactics for career and personal success. Leveraging on my previous business experience and research on women leaders, I've worked with many Fortune 100 companies in Asia and Europe.
I've lived, worked and studied in Asia for more than 18 years and have extensive work experience in China, India, Hong Kong, Singapore and other Asian countries.
